Sure. The upper is the first tattoo I ever got. It is the trinity with Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic (The three original laguages the whole Bible was written in.. Aramaic was the first five books, the rest of the old testament was written in Hebrew, and the new testament was written in Greek.) saying Father, Son and Spirit with the flame around it and cross in the middle. The other portion on my back is my representation of the seraphim from Isaiah 6..... 2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. There is more about them later on but this gives the general idea as to where I got how they look. It is believed to be the first time the Trinity is told of in the old testament besides in Genesis. Long story that if you would like I can go into more detail. My major is in theology with a minor in photography and fine arts. |
