Oh and Mark, I want my set installed... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Don't we all. They are a pain to install but I'm thinking a tutorial will help.
Mark
I replaced one about a year ago - I don't remember it being all that difficult (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
Didn't you tell me Dianne installed that one? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)
That's just plain silly, she doesn't know s#it about cars (except where the go pedal and radio knobs are) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif)

IIRC, she was busy at the time ... writing an aeronautical instruction manual - "Landing Gear Deployment for Dummies" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif) ...Woody can probably relate to some of this...)

Anyway, can you sign me up for a set...and I'll PM you re a prior email that I haven't heard back on re some parts stuff, including correct screwdrivers, etc

Please put me down for one set and advise as to payment method.

I just purchased your bumper toppers and am both amazed and thankful that you have established a cottage industry to keep these cars alive.

Well,
I've been awaiting the materials to ship from the east coast, and wasn't supposed to see them til next week, but I was able to procure enough to get started on these got 10 sets done and more in the morning. I'll be contacting yall in tomorrow to start getting these out the door to you. I also went to a slightly softer rubber to make them even easier to install.

Finally cranking out some parts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

If these sit around inside in a box for a couple years until I paint my car they'll still be good right? If so I'll take a set.

Yes, they are stable and will hold up for years (hopefully you don't need too many) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . I'll forward the info.
Thx mark

I planned to do a thread on the install for these this weekend but got 12" of snow. Next weekend I'll get one posted. These do require dissassembly of much of the door parts. The aluminum pillar that holds the triangle window has to be moved back at the very least. The seal with the window in it will not fit into the door, and the top cap will not sit correctly unless it's seated all the way down. You can see from my midnight installation that I removed the bar, fitted the seal with the window in it, and attached the cap before reinstalling. The shrink wrap was a very helpfull part of the install.

It is required to move the bar back at the very least, and it was faster to install the way I did. I will get step by step pictures next weekend.
