I have a '70 but it has adjustable passenger seat. Does that make a difference when I order carpet? How are 70-71 sets different from 1972?

72 - the footwell piece also changed on the passenger side.you need the carpet to match which footwell piece you have along with the adjustable seat difference

Probably why I have no carpet behind my passenger seat. So, looks like I need a set for a 1970 with an extra piece for behind the passenger seat?

talk to James, he'll get you the right stuff... I actually had a 73 piece in my footwell, sounds like what you actually need is a 72 set. I mis spoke last night, it was 73 when they changed the footwell piece. 72 still had the 70-71 piece, so a 72 set should fit I think.
