Not much. Are you looking for information regarding running a stock motor? Or in terms of a rebuild core?

For a rebuild core, they are the same.

Mostly differences at the earlier MPS, CHT, ECU & other EFI components - otherwise they're the same basic GA engine 73 & 74, as McMark said. So you could transplant the appropriate MY's D-jet set-up if you're looking for a new engine/core, but save the old one if it's a matching number original engine to the car!

Yeah the same but for the Fuel Injection. You don't want to mix the FI between the years. Also don't mix the wiring between them. Dont ask me how I know (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Then '74 is by far the better engine...:tongue in cheek:

Actually there are few subtle and meaningless differences:

The 74 has:

1 year less wear...
Single port throttle body, no throttle shaft spring
Charcoal canister relocated to the engine bay (@ mid-year 74)
Some, not all, FI components were changed for the 74 model as mentioned above

Thaz all...

For a more detailed of what changed and what is inter changeable and what is preferd.. link below

http://members.rennlist.com/pbanders/DJetParts.htm

The main thing is if your using the 037 ecu from '73 then you must use the corresponding cht w/ resistor and mps.. that really is the only major rule..
change the ecu to 74-76 and the fi components are alot more flexible.. 74 stock is a good bet as then you can go alot of ways when in need for a part. anything more than that will just confuse your question.. read that link it will be your best guide..
