Ferg i believe that gold 6 was listed with european collectibles on the west coast several years ago. I also like that color. It's one of those you either love it or hate it. If the owner of that car is interested in selling at some point and is active on the site, please contact me thru my box as i would have interest in the car.

Boy I would love to see some good pictures of that gold six....please if someone has some, please pass them along. I am trying to convince myself to return my car to its original color. Going to take some doing and that is an understatement!

OK, well I just showed the gold six pictures to my wife and she said that gold is horribly awful color and she would be embarrassed knowing we had a gold six..... I am just saying.

More the reason (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif) All the cool kids are doing it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Seriously, IMO, if you are thinking of a repaint anyhow, I think it would boost the value.

Ferg,
Believe me I know it would boost the value if I were to sell it. But I really do not like gold...on anything.

I don't know, this is kind of a process I am going through.

Fortunately my car is likely one year away from paint (if I am lucky) so it is not a decision I need to make right now. My car is black at present but it will definitely not stay black. Irish Green is a pretty likely choice as my last six was Irish Green and I always liked it. It will be a total media blast repaint so unless one looks at the COA they will not realize the color change. I will even change the Karman tag with the color code on the door frame as the painter who did the black back in 72 or 73 just painted it over and it has been painted once more since then in the late 80's apparently.

These are the things that keep me awake at night....
