Both Chuck & I got in 2 runs before the rain hit.
Chuck had a 42.9 (TTO morning session), I was 1.5 sec back. I had the top off, settin' in the staging lanes when the rain hit.....went a second slower....Chuck was worser & wetter. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

The new Hoosiers seem pretty good. Gotta do some fooling around with pressures. Started at 35 psi cold.....seems a bit high, per the sidewall wear pattern. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) They have some STIFF sidewalls.
They look almost like a canteliver tire......and ride like their made of wood.

The X is a past class winner running in PAX (index)
class......X means fast mo fos (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

X C Stock in that case.

They don't have to run the PAX, but can.

I *think* there were only 2 other Porsches there....both red Boxsters.

You'll have to wait till next week for more of Bruce's great shots. PAC AX next Sunday morning.

No excuses.......but.

It was a very technical course.

I never came close to redline in 2nd, but never fell off the bump (3500 rpms).

The rain threw a wrench in the works. The first and last run groups (of 4 total) are the ones that got 3 dry runs. Lotta fast guys stayed home due to the weather.

I gots a news flash for ya. A properly set up & well driven CS Miata is an impressive AXer. There are a lot of quick Miatas up here. That TTOD car ain't the quickest of em'. He finished 17th (for top time) last month.

On another note, Subie WRX & STIs are coming out in droves. Musta been 20 of em' there.
