It's that time. I for one have never given a crap aboutit, or the whole "resolution" thing, but in the last 2 years my whole life has changed, and I think this time around I might try the resolution thing.

1. get a larger shop
2. Finish the motorcycle
3. get started on the Pickup
4. take a trip or 2
5. get back on my boards ( get to the beach at least two weekends a month )
6. depending on 1,2&3 MAYBE get started on my 914 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
7. Drag out Mikes car for another year (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

How about you guys ?

1. Get my Sixer project done before you get Dr. Evil's car back on line. My car likes the jack stands and a warm garage.
2. Get the clutch replaced in the Alfa and prepare it for the drive to California?????
3. Sell all my extra Porsche and Alfa parts since it is close to time to enjoy the cars for a couple of years and attend different car events.
4. Start gathering and planning my next project which will be a Lotus Elan Plus 2.
5. Move back to California in two years since the high country of Arizona is getting to me. Hate to shovel snow and the cold weather is getting to may joints.
6. Become more involved in the 914/Porsche activities in Arizona, California, and New Mexico.
7. Traveling to Chicago and North East is see old military/college stomping grounds.
8. Traveling in the East Coast area and Southeast area down to the tip of Florida and back through Texas.
9 Finish traveling Route 66 in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Illinois.
10. Start planning a trip or two to Europe

I will also continually travel through the United States and Canada as opportunities come up and will be connected to the five traveling cars: Corvette, Porsche 914 Sixer, Pickup, Alfa, and Jeep. My wife and I enjoy going to events/places that we can use all our vehicles including club events, backcountry, historic places, etc. The only thing nice about being retired is getting a chance to do these things.

My new years resolutions?

1) drop 40 pounds by June (1.6 pounds a week is doable if I make even a marginal effort, but I gotta start paying attention to what I am doing.)
2) AX the 914 again
3) get the Jeep to a point where it is painted and ready for reassembly.
4) make some progress on the race car
5) knock up my wife again

Might want to move #5 up to #1 as it appears to be a lot more fun than the others(except of course the AXing) and it will also help you achieve your current #1 by burning calories.

just sayin'........ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

I may as well sell it. I'm still working 7 fuchin days a week with no end in sight. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) There comes a time when money has little value and life becomes a real precious commodity. Stupid work..

Dude, dont sell it. I will rent it from you for a VERY small fee until either I buy it or you want it back. Like Rent A Center (Ghetto!) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Not a bad idea, though. Tell me when to pick it up.
