I'm looking to replace the Steering wheel. Are all years interchangeable? I'm wondering if the Bug Aftermarket Wheels fit as well?

thanks

Frank

All of the steering wheels 65-73 911 912 and 70-76 914 , 914-6 are the same except the standard 911 and 912 are larger the rs 911 is 914 size. The difference are the hubs. The 911 912 and 914-6 directly interchange. The 70-71 914 have an added plastic screw on hub and interchange, the 72-76 914s have a different plastic screw on hub that interchange. You can use any 911 912 914-6 914-4 65-73 (911 912) and 70-76 (914) steering wheel on any of these cars with the appropriate hub and appropriate tapping of the mounting holes.

You need a hub to match your car model. Make sure you get a 914 hub or else it will interfere with your high beam and washer at least.

If you're interested, have an like new Momo Monte Carlo with Porsche horn button.
You'll need a new hub for it.
