I know some on the board is making calenders, But I always like nice coffee table books
or bed side..here is my thoughts if we can get few cool shoots of your car I will have my one of my girls design the book ...(she already does this for wedding and other biz.) maybe one shoot of the car moving one of the inside or motor or any other cool set up..now if we can get enough people to want one,the price is pretty low and its a very cool thing to have even if your car is not in it.

BTW I think some of you guy's have a good eye when it comes to taking photos of your rides....I should know. Attached Image(IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) ..so just like the calender tread help me make this book a joy to own.

Not to put the kabash on your 914 book idea Jaime - cuz it's great!

I like this book as my coffee table book! Aside from good 914 info inside - it looks so sweet sitting there! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Attached Image

Barnes & Noble, Borders, Amazon, etc. sell it online, if you don't have it already.

Unfortunately my 914's resto probably won't be done in time for pix, but I'm still interested in one.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

PS - I'll bet you could make multi-pic chapters out of some of the 914s out there!

I am totally up for this and would like to join in. Unfortunately me and my car are in Japan but I have taken some cool pics I think that might be interesting for the book. I posted some pics of my car in the calender posting but could send you some if you need and can get more with cool Japanese backgrounds.

Do like Cosmo Kramer on Seinfeld - make a Coffee Table Book Table, but in the 914 Version have a set of fold out Jack-Stands

That would never work silly.....

German cars dont have cup holders and could never effectively support a cup without spilling.

We could certainly do it but it would cost alot and we would need presales, or it would never cover its costs.

All I need is photos of our members cars and I will do the rest, it can be a group buy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/type.gif) but I can do it with just a few people. Now if you want to add this book to your biz we would need to get every one to sign off...

Someone shares an idea and you immediately think presales for AA? Is your motive to offer help, or undermine yet another person? Oy. Let Oldschool do it his new school way. Sounds like one of his girls already has the logistics covered.

Now days, we have print-on-demand services. Anybody who has an idea can get it done without expense to themselves.

Pre-sales to a book that would never arrive...complaints to the credit card companies...many, many angry posts here, etc. etc. The beat never stops. Same old M.O.

Sorry had to pile on:)

If you want Hi Res, you should post an email address where everyone can send photos. What we post here is reduced and likely won't give you what you need for a good book.

Also, I have photos I took of others cars over the years. I wonder if I need to get permission from the vehicle owner?... or if these are my photos and I can do as I see fit with them.
