I am sure some of you have seen this before but I thought I would post it for those who have not. I was researching some 1930's aftermarket turn signals for my Dad when low and behold a 914 showed up!
"One man sits behind the wheel of a Porsche 914/6 at the Porsche/Audi exhibit space, while another man touches its plastic front turn-signal lens. Replacing the short-lived 912, the 914 was new for 1970, packing either a Volkswagen four-cylinder engine or a Porsche flat six. It was produced in West Germany as a joint venture between Porsche and Volkswagen." http://www.chicagoautoshow.com/show_histor...1970&y=1970 |
