I'm looking at a car in WI and the owner is encouraging me to fly and drive.

While it might be fun, it is mostly a boring drive from WI to NH and once you ad the expenses it might not be that much cheaper than a shipper.

I went online for some quotes and the price range isn't as bad as I expected, but reviews of the companies that quoted are all over the map.

I know customers are not always right but....

I have a nice quote from National Auto shipping at $692 door to door. Are they any good (I see high and low praise for them)?

So who is out there that has consistently good service, good prices and good business practices that I can trust?

Is it normal to have to pay a deposit before the car is picked up?

Is it as big of a crap shoot as it seems?

I have used Auto Transport Direct twice now and have been very happy. No issues or damage to cars. They have been fast, at least on the west coast. Here is their link: http://www.autotransportdirect.com/

Believe it or not, FedEx. They're a little on the pricey side however.
