what can you guys advise me s for wheels options that would stand out with the flares without a 5 lug conversion?, what size and ofset would I be looking for. are the new 4 lugs VW wheels fits the 914?

You driving around our roads....get steel wheels.
Many dune buggy 4 lug steel wheel options that get pretty wide.

I think one of the guys here...the guy who does tile work...trekkor has a few sets of steel wheels, custom width, and cheap.

914/VW Air-cooled 4 lug hubs are 4 on 130 (early Rabbits & Golfs were 4 on 100)
Pick up a Hot VW and check the ads in there, that is your best bet to find the 4 lug rims you want..

Here is one style of the steel wheels that can be found in the Mag, these were 7X15s but also came in 8s.

A set of 8X15s with 225/50/15s work well on flared 4cyl teeners & look good..

Paul i'll find out tomorrow at work what options are available for wide 4-lugs, since we do quite a few dune buggy builds.

A set of 14x7 BBS rims on the Samba. might work with the correct offset/spacers.

Thanks, I went and got them, will try them sometimes this week, accoding to the seller, they came off a 914, He has pics of them mounted on the 914.
