IMHO... In general (not WCC specific), a longer event with days that are less "packed" with stuff to do is more relaxing. Some down time for an opportunity to decompress is good - after all, this is vacation for many of us.

I agree with Rusty on this one. My two teenage boys and I can stay entertained for sure (well, maybe just me:)); but I don't think my wife would stand for it. So, downtime to do other "THINGS" with her would be good. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

I think we had plenty of downtime during the 2004 WCC
Saturday was the only long day (if you stayed for the fun runs) Other than that, the planned activities were mostly done around 14.00 It would be nice to have a hotel with a decent lobby/bar this time where WCC-ers can hang out in the evenings/nights cheers, Jeroen |

In that case, we should book the hotel next to a Brewery! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif)

Couldn't hurt! That would certainly make my wife happy. Girl loves her beer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)
