I got a new pair of hubs because the aluminium was corroded badly on the old ones.
The new ones are identical in every dimension except they use larger grease caps. Does anyone have a part number for these so I can order some new caps? Unfortunately I threw out the old ones for comparison. These must come from a later 911 but before '89 as the bearings fit etc. Attached image(s) |

what is the number on the hub? Show me a picture of the side of it. There are a few different ones. If you have the number, I can get you the right number for the cap.

Actually there are only 2 numbers, one is 914 341 684 00
The other is 911 341 684 00 The 914 number is for the 68 to 73 911 The 911 number is for 74 to 81 |

Thanks for that info. I looked all over the hub but there doesn't seem to be a Part# there.
I found another part# on the 914 PET 901 341 065 04 FRONT WHEEL HUB 2 914-6 But I'm guessing this would be the same as the early hub I threw out. I wonder if there was another type after the number you quoted from '82-'89? |

My hubs that came off of an 87 carrera looks just like that. It also has the notch at the rim of the bearing hub. Sorry I don't have any part numbers.

The notch on the rim of the hub is for adjusting the set screw on the retaining bolt. I think they all have that no matter what 911 hub you use.
