It seems that my car is due for a wiper switch . It is either on or intermittent, but not off. I just priced it at Automobile Atlanta and it is $180. Is there a cheaper alternative? or a VW one that will fit. The Porsche part number is 914-613-915-14-OEM
Any help is appreciated. Ray |

Is it possible no one has ever had to replace this? I tried the VW ones an they are a Chinese POS. Will not fit correctly since their axis is too long (manufacturing defect). I ended up drilling and replacing that axis. Lesson learned, I now have 2 SWF good used switches. PM if you still need one. One of them had been converted to activate an electric water pump. You can add a simple relay and it will activate the wipers at the same time you wash the windshield. Some pictures in the link below. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=117014 |

Make sure it's not the park switch in the wiper assembly before you go and replace the stalk switch.
