It seems that my car is due for a wiper switch . It is either on or intermittent, but not off. I just priced it at Automobile Atlanta and it is $180. Is there a cheaper alternative? or a VW one that will fit. The Porsche part number is 914-613-915-14-OEM

Any help is appreciated.

I tried the VW ones an they are a Chinese POS. Will not fit correctly since their axis is too long (manufacturing defect). I ended up drilling and replacing that axis.

Lesson learned, I now have 2 SWF good used switches. PM if you still need one.

One of them had been converted to activate an electric water pump. You can add a simple relay and it will activate the wipers at the same time you wash the windshield.

Make sure it's not the park switch in the wiper assembly before you go and replace the stalk switch.
