I've had two Olympic Blue cars... it's a fun, vintage color.

I have a 73 that was originally Olympic Blue, but I don't think I'll be repainting it that color. I found out when I took off the carpets and trim. I find it to be an odd color.
I know it won't be original, but I don't care, if I'm going to spend so much time (and money) restoring the darn thing, I want to at least like the color. |

Good for you!! If it's your car, why have it be a color you don't like?
I would suggest that, if possible, you get everything (the whole body!) painted the new color. Nothing like opening a door or having a piece of carpet slip and showing off the "wrong" color to irritate you later on... --DD |

not too sure what is going on in this picture with the hole in the floor:
"too stupid to figure out how to remove starter" or "didn't have a floor jack so I thought I'd tie a string to the transmission" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) Attached image(s) ![]() |
