once again, the DIN curb weight of a 914/4 (per the spec book) is 970 kp / 2139 lbs.

Of course, that sounds like a later car quoted in the spec book, not an early car. Not all "stock" 914/4s weigh the same.

Commercial scales usually charge between $7 & $10 for a total weight. You might even get them to do an axle weight too.
