Here is a link to a short video I filmed today, the quality is poor, and it's sideways
but you can hear the engine and get an idea of what it's like on boost. When Karl gets here next week I will have him film some good gear shifting action shots for all of you.

This wasn't a good place to be speeding I was going about 90 when I backed off 4th. My dog was in the passinger seat and she gets uncomfortable when Im at WOT.
3rd, 4th and 5th go by very quick, so you need to have a nice open run to stay safe and keep from getting a ticket.
I will get some good video to post, this was just a test today.

looks great on a laptop turned sideways. Sounds great too. You really got through the gears quickly. Your synchros must be pretty fresh... Where does it feel like the power comes in? Where do you shift?

When the boost comes on it's on till I'm off throttle. When I jump on it, and the turbos nice and hot it builds around 3000 and is well on its way to 9lbs after 4000, I am shifting at 6400.

I think I am around 300hp+ with my setup on a 3.0, I was just short of running out of 4th I had to let up, I was on a 40mph street and needed to slower down.
Next week I will give you guys the good ride with Karl behind the camera.

I have a brace between the shock towers in the back as you can see and a camber truss in the front, they came with the car when I bought it, along with a lot of other reinforcing.(The car was set up for Willow Springs)
I am using a 901 with Quaife lsd and short gears (M,S,Z) a Kennedy stage 2 clutch and pressure plate which will slip a little when I am running through the gears WOT. I plan on upgrading to a stage 3 like the v8 guys use.
I am still wrestling with a turbo oil scavenge problem using a Tilton oil pump that is unable to keep up with the flow from the turbo but have sourced out a 930 cam driven scavenge pump that should, if I am unable to restrict the flow enough
for the Tilton to scavenge properly.
The 959 paintings were a few I did as samples while doing commercial artwork for National car rental. Prints are available.

How is that 901 holding up to the 300 estimated hp?

My dad is debating weither or not to block off the secondary's on the carb for the v8... and I think it would just take all the "fun" out of the car... Im thinking im not going to get enough hp... but also thinking that 350 tq will destroy my trani instantly...

Ehh, I'll post this in my own thread...

Cool setup man.... I would rather that than a v8... but hey, budget is key.

I haven't logged enough time on the 901 to tell if will hold up or not.
I have an extra fresh 901 if this one fails, 901's are still cheap and easy to come by, I may just let the clutch slip a little and live with it to save on the box, The car is going to be a street car and I dont plan on beating on it to hard. I have
never stomped on it in 1st and wont, the 901 will not handle it. I broke one with a heavily modified type 4 1st gear launch.
If i was to do a launch I would start out in 2nd like I do most of the time.
