The brakes on my '73 are squeaking and it's gotten progressively worse. I'm finally sick of it.... Any pad brands that folks recommend that are decent performance wise but quiet?

brakes that are squeaking (not because of wear sensors) are typically due to vibration/friction on the back side of the pad. have you tried putting any anti squeal compound on there?

I tried the aluminum pads and anti-sieze, but they only worked temporarily...
