I just received my lug nuts from Bruce Stone. How can I refinish these. Were these aluminum lug nuts origionally black annodized?

Thanks

If they're OEM,ones, then they're steel with silver zinc plating.

You could clean, strip/blast & prep them up & take them to a local plater to replate, or send them to Eric Shea at PMB to send out with his next set of silver plated caliper restos. (don't know what he charges for that).

If they're really light & aluminum, then they were probably anodized originally (like the Fuchs 2L wheels were), & you can clean & strip/blast/polish then send them to Al Reed or another wheel refinisher to get reanodized.

I think that he is talking about alloy nuts (5 lug conversion), not the bolts.

Yes, they are anodized black.
