After 40 years of golf... Misty morning playing with the dawn patrol. Lackluster round until 11th hole. Usually inaccurate 5 iron hits it 168 yards into the cup. Life is good. We will have a golf tournament WCC 2005!

Congratulations Howard!!! Glad to see you were hard at work today. I chased that little white ball for years and came close quite a few times but never put one in. So, a golf tournament huh? What liquor company will be sponsoring that? |

Congratulations Howard, May this one lead to many more.
Hole in one's are only in my dreams, Yet my dad has had 13. Great job at getting up early and getting the round in before the bar opens. Infamous golf holes: http://65.27.66.16 |

Howard,
Congrats! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) I'm closing on 40 years of golf and still no HIO. My Dad goes deeper into depression everytime somone tells one of these stories. He's going on 50 years. I think he is determined to convince everyone that getting a HIO takes no skill.. So, did it 1) scoot accross the ground and hit the pin at 30 mph? 2) Or did it Fly into the hole driving it deeper into the ground 3) Or did it do a Mickelson and land 15 feet beyond the hole and moonwalk into the bottom. 4) or bounce off the water scoot accross the. - no wait, that's a joke... |

A thing of great beauty. Knew when I hit it it was a good'n. High, soft, landed about 15ft in front of the pin and bit about 90%. Then slowly rolled downhill into the cup. Was playing with my regular group, and they all saw it. Damnnnn! Now for another 40 year wait... |

Very cool.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
I only hope mine is like that. Not like my friend who was playing by himself, looked around and saw NO ONE IN SITE. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon8.gif) He had to beg the pro in the clubhouse to sign off the shot. |
