Hi everyone, I am wondering what type of black matte paint to use on the front/rear valences and the steel rocker panels.
Also what primer should we use with the selected paint?

Thanks!

I used commercial grade rattle can bumper trim black on mine. It stays somewhat flexible, resistant to chips.

SEM makes a pre-mixed satin black trim paint available from auto paint suppliers which looks just fantastic on my black parts. Did magic on the gas tank as well.

I don't believe so, but don't know for sure, haven't painted mine yet.

I use the Wurth satin trim paint above. It has the required 'flex' for thin-gauge metal or fiberglass to help reduce cracking and chipping.

I shot my front valance with spray bomb undercoat from FLAPS. It still looks great. Cleanup and shoot in 10 minutes. Done. I'm going to do the same thing with my outer rocker panels.
