Anyone know the screw size for the front and rear license frame? The part that holds the license plate to the frame. Part number would be great if you had it.

The first time I saw my 73 it did not have a license plate frame. The dealer put it on when I bought it. Most I've seen are just #6 0r #8 sheet metal screws

Ok guys thanks. Thought the Porsche parts catalog would have them listed, but I had no luck in my search.

Todd, Mine (73) took #10. Maybe the PO had stretched them?

Tod - try the P-dealer & ask for their lic. frame mounting kit. IIRC they sell either the frame, the hardware or the full kit - your choice.

It's the same one for all 60's & 70's P-cars, but a switch to SS screws & plastic inseerts mignt be a better rust free choice - although not CW.
