OK, I have painted and polished all four wheels, but I need to keep them that way. What do you guys recommend? Clear coat (will it stick to the polished part?), wax or what?
The painted-polished one is the one on the left. |

QUOTE Vaseline is recommended. Anodizing is recommended. Vasoline is recommended in the factory manual for "anodized" wheels as the anodizing process leaves the surface porous. I'm a firm believer in anodizing as the very best method. That said, if they're not anodized you may want to try a clear coat. Either clear powder or VHT makes a High-Gloss Clear that needs to be treated (200 degrees for 1 hour) but is rumoured to be quite tough after that. |

Fuch Protection Fuchs is the correct singular (and plural), as it is a name. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |
