So its finally a lovely Spring day in Portland I'm preparing to mount my motor and transmission following a very long break.
I have lovely Wevo mounts and I was about to install them until I saw this: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...c=96869&hl= The gist of the article is that it's recommended to use the large mushroom-shaped cup washers on the top of the transmission ears to keep the gearbox from popping out. After removing the existing stock mounts just now, I see no such cap washers. Where are these from? I realize that this could be a silly question. Cheers, Marcus |

The cup washers are stock items.

Now I see. Part 914-375-237. For $30 each, but showing NLA.
Damned expensive. Apparently, mine have just been missing for the whole time I've had the car. Hmm. |
