I've got a pair of tail shifters and a '91 audi 3.6l V8 that need to go. All three worked when pulled but should probably be considered cores. The wife's got me on a limit of how many I can keep around and I've got my eyes on another engine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
I'm in Spokane, but I can be convinced to deliver to the Seattle area. I haven't been to the office in a while and could probably use an excuse. |

So the trannies are spoken for. That was easy. Now what the hell do I do with this over sized aluminum lump with pistons in it?

Duh, why didn't I think of that earlier. At that price I'll actually make money off this lump. Beer's on me next time I see you and why the hell didn't I think of that?
Why didn't the guy that sold me the lump think of that? |

Take that motor to the recycle and cash it in. $1.50 per pound? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) There are engine rebuilders that buy core motors. Recyclers may may $1.50 for clean aluminum but not for assembled engines. Contact them and see if they will take it at all. The fluids present a hazardous waste issue they may not want to deal with. Good luck. Bruce |
