i just got a set of 15x7 fuchs, i am pressing in studs for the 5 lug conversion. what tire should i run and do i need to do anything else.

If your car is stock-bodied you may have fitment issues. I do not believe a 15X7 will fit on a stock rear end.

Very early 15X7s fit fine with a little baseball bat action to the bead on the rear fenders. Of course the going rate for those is more than most 914s are worth, so it's unlikely that's what you have.

the common 7 inch fuch is the same offset as a cookie cutter
some people have been able to get them under stock fenders with 205 tires and rolled lips... I have not been able to do that on 2 seperate cars and had to make more modifications to the fender. the 6 inch fuchs/cookie is really the one that fits with no modifications. |
