My wipers died & I think it is the switch (column mounted type). It feels like it only moves one click, so I think its a contact problem. I took the steering wheel off, removed the 4 screws that hold the directional & wiper switch in place. Started to pry out the switches but stopped. I see where both switches need to be unplugged underneath the column. Question is how do you unplug/re-install the connections without long skinny fingers. Does the steering column clam shell come apart? Looks to be an easy fix if I can get it apart.
