those megaphones are obnoxious....I sold a pair last year I think for $20...I'd like to see them get crushed so that no one has to suffer hearing them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Those are "anti reversionary" megaphones, all the rage in the 70s. The carbs have been on a VW bus, the nipples on the manifolds are for the power brake vacuum supply. Nice score! The Cap'n

Thanks Cap, for the compliment and the info. Are the Megaphones worth anything? Will ebay them later today. I guess I will try and sell the beast. I just wanted a couple parts off it, which were the doors, and a very nice door mirror. I will stick a set of crash bar doors on it, and sell it I suppose. I got a pretty damn good deal on it, its not without issue. I like the fact that its an Olyimpic Blue Car. Tan inside, which I think is quite strange color combo, but it was the 70's. It still has a current Cal registration. It has decent chrome bumpers and all of the stuff still works inside. Even that crazy seat belt warning deal works! Little light flashes at you when you turn the key...keep flashing if you don't buckel it. Never seen one work right. Funny.
