I finally got tired of crawling under the car every 3 weeks or so and tightening up the nuts that hold the heat exchangers to the heads. I've replaced the nuts with the copper coated nuts so sften the people at Small Car Performance laugh when they see me coming. It's "What do you need today and how about some exhaust nuts?".

So, I ran out of patience and put them on with red Locktight. How dumb is that? People do funny things when they are desperate.

Is the rear hanger on the car ?? and the studs for it tight in the end cover ?? I have never really had a problem with exhaust nuts coming loose unless I was slowly pulling the studs out. The correct nuts locking. Not Ny-Lock but steel-lock.

Brad

The proper hanger is there. The end plate is tight. I don't believe the stud are pulling out but I guess I'll find out for sure.

Thanx,

Dave
