I kinda like these pedals and they look perfect for the 914 pedal cluster. Feel free to share your opinion and I'll feel free to consider it or ignore it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Those are ok. I think they are pricey though. I got the Sparco pedals for $25 or $30.

I dont like the fact that they go OVER the existing pedals. Wait until Dunkels. There is a guy there that sells a complete bolt in billet gas pedal and the covers for the brake and clutch pedals. I like the look, I just think it is cheasy they are covers and not complete billet pedals for the pedal assembly.

Which Sparco pedals did you get?
Maybe we should expand this topic a little bit. What do people think is better, smooth (metal) pedals or something with some grip (be it metal tooth or rubber insert). I agree the MOMO's are pricey but they are the exact shape of the 914 pedals, thus keeping the non-stock look to a minimum. This isn't the most important topci to ever come up but the list seemed a little quiet tonight. Jon |

I have driven several cars with this type of pedal and disliked the fact that my feet slipped on them easier than they did with stock rubber pedals. If I had them..they would end up with skate board grip tape on them.

Jon.
I have these pedals. Sparco Pedals They say $49 there, but I found them somewhere for $30 ish. dunno where, maybe it was ebay. I like them alot. I agree with Brad though. I rather have skateboard grip tape on my pedals. If your shoes just get a little wet, game over, whether they are the rubber nubby pedals or the all metal ones. |

Thanks, I had a similar experience on another car of mine. I think I'll just stick with stock (it'll be one of the few stock parts still on the car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) )

I got a set of these in my 911 and have a set to be installed on the 914
Don't have any 'grip issues', unless I'm wearing my pimp/dancing shoes (which I try to avoid as much as possible (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)) and it's wet outside... They bolt over the existing pedals The brake and gas pedal are sleightly wider, which helps 'heel & toe' action And at $15 a set, they're hard to beat (OMP, Sparco etc. all sell them) cheers, Jeroen |
