I currently have a 73 2.0 with the original Fuchs. Can I just bolt these puppies on in their place?
Iron Crosses Will this mounting hardward fit too? Mounting hardware Thanks! |

The lug pattern looks good. I'd be worried about the back spacing and width. See this thread for your Fuchs specs: Post #2

I'd be worried about the back spacing and width. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) The offset looks to be incorrect for a stock 914 ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |

They’re EMPI so they’ll bolt on, but it’s pretty safe to say they’re going to be Beetle offset which means anything besides 165R-15 will rub. If you’re serious about running them go to The Samba and ask the Type 3 or Karmann Ghia crowd if they work. They pretty much need the same offset.

These are 3.5" spacing and 914 needs 4.5"

I have seen 914s with those wheels.
They work but the offset will limit your tire selection. Fine for a street car, not great for a AX car. Zach |

... also at that price they're most likely cast rather than forged. They'll likely break instead of bend if used on the track and treated harshly, or you hit a curb at speed. That is unless they're actually steel!

I bought these recently and am very happy with them.
http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...3&hl=wheels Correct backspace and with new toyo's - look different than the few other street 914's around... Don't buy the caps, however... very heavy and $$. You could find a set of 911 caps and paint them cheaper! |
