I was in the Gas Lamp District in San Diego, Fifth and Market last night when me and the wife walked out of a restaurant and behold! There it was! He had his deck lid off and was showing off huge Webbers and velocity stacks. Didn't hear it run, but looked like a screamer! Sadly I forgot to get the VIN for the database.
Anyone know who it is? |

Pretty nice car! But, not mine. Do you get down here much? I don't see a lot of activity from the SD crowd even though I have seen 3 or 4 locally.

Sorry to say that I rarely make it down to SD. My bad, because the town is so fun! Especially the Gas Lamp. We should suggest the next Dawn Parol head south instead of the GMR route. Could be a blast!

If you make it during spring break, you can count me in!! Rancho sante fe has some really fun roads, with lots of twisties! i used to drive them all the time just for fun when I lived in SD. Dont know how close, or familiar, everyone else in the SD group is to that area but if you were going north on the 5 from downtown area, you would exit lomas sante fe and go east, and then make sure your seat belt is buckled, cause you'll be in for a ride! |

Once my car is back on the road, I will be up for the dawn patrol. There are some great roads out towards the desert that need some attention.

Meet at the Alpine lodge in Alpine out route 8 (Awesome breakfast spot), then run up to Julian through Cuyamaca Park and over to Mt Laguna and back down to 8. 3.5 hour trip without stops. There's also an Indian casino in Alpine that has great food and the occasional excellent music show.

The road out by the airport is much less traveled.... But, I won't be ready for at least 6 more months. Maybe next fall for me.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) He was really down with the car, and who could blame him. 73 2.0 appearance group looks like. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)
