So in other words if you have a MY 1970 914 then PM Glenn with your VIN and whether your divider tray is separated or not plus the phone numbers of three single women between the ages of 25 and 35 who live in the Chicago area and get weak in the knees for vintage, German race cars.

Simple.

You sure they did not mix them for a while?

Paul's car would seem to say less than 3114 of those trays exist...

My car (9140430611, build date 2/70) has the later style tray. Looks like we're down to January/February of 1970 for the change (at least for the -6s).

Glenn... given that the build dates are all over the map, I wonder if checking off the third seat option would have gotten the divider tray, belts and the cushion and standard builds got the smooth tray? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

(then again, Marks has the cushion... carry on)

Photo of VIN 9140432486, build date believed to be 6/70 tray has divider. No indication it has been replaced by a previous owner, but also no guarantee it wasn't.

I have parted out lots of cars over the years but I have never seen a tray without the divider. SOOOO I learned something new today.
