The RS America is READY to go back to Europe, put the new Wheels and Tires on today. Here’s a list of what I’ve been doing to her to get her ready again.

Rebuilt Front suspension
New Battery
Fresh Brake Pads, sensors, system flushed and filled with Super Blue.
Rockers pulled and cleaned, seals replaced
Drivers Seat Recovered
A/C and heat checked
New Door Seals
New Radio
Touched up Paint
Replaced Engine Air Duct
Pulled Axles, cleaned/packed CV’s, replaced Boots
Replaced Distributor, Distributor Caps & Rotors
New Fuel Filter
Complete Engine Tune Up, new Plugs, Set Valves
New O2 Sensor
Changed Oil and Filter. Magnets Clean
Changed Oil Transmission, Magnets Clean
Replaced Front/Rear Wheels
Tires
Scrubbed/Detailed Top to Bottom
Clayed and Waxed

She is running so sweet.

I think she’s in even better shape than when I shipped her to Europe last time. I really want a trip like last time, she was faultless, she only had 2 minor problems, a shorted Alarm wire in Wales and I replaced the Idle Speed Valve in Paris. NO Breakdowns, amazing for a 1 ½ year Tour.

Every thing is all set up. I’ll be shipping her in about 2 weeks. I’ve got a San Diego to London direct flight at the end of May to pick her up in Felixstowe.

Started making reservations, how about 9 days at the Ring, woo hoo.

I am so ready to do this again.
