Why are you selling these after 5 hours on the car? Were these too stiff? I've been interested in upgrading my torsion bars but my car. My car is used for spirited street driving. I'd like to stiffen it up a little but am not sure how large to go on torsion bars.
Do you have any feedback or suggestions on which torsion bars to use?

These are great.
I ordered the Sanders hollow bars and it took a while to get them.
My car was having suspension work done, so I ordered the solid bars from Chuck at Elephant Racing when the other suspension stuff was ordered.
I tried to sell the hollow bars on 914world and no one was interested.
I finally just decided to install the hollow and sell the solids.
Here is a picture of the hollow 22's.

Just curious, what were you asking for the hollow bars? Is there any benefit other than weight for the hollow torsion bars? How much do they stiffen up the ride? Is the car stil comfortable on the street or are these more for auto cross and the track?

I paid 270.00 for 914-4 22mm solid torsion bars SAW, plus shipping
I paid 310.50 for X-TUBE FRONT914T/BAR 22MM, plus shipping

I tried to sell the hollow bars for 275 and then 250, I think.
No takers, so I wasn't about to just give them away.
I had to wait for the hollow bars and then the first bars that were sent were for a 911, so the hollow bars were a little more difficult to get and cost a little more.

So while doing suspension work the last time at the shop, the mechanic just swapped the bars out.

I can't tell a difference between the two bars.

Here is a chance for someone to get a nice set of sway-a-way bars at a good price. The bars are just like brand new.
