Hi Andy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif)
You might want to PM or email Gustl, as IIRC he restored his puck at the link below... http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=217037 BTW - my wife & I were talking about you the other night, when we saw some Thonet Bentwood furniture on Antiques Roadshow! Andy - the chrome ring is removd by pushing the small chrome tabs from the back of the button. Go slow, be carefull. The ring might be tight in the black plastic. There are replacement parts available if things go wrong but there not cheap or origional. These buttons are used quite often by the early 911 crowd so there are many resources available besides our friend Gustl.
Keep going on the build (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) Attached image(s) ![]() ![]() |

Andy, it's just like mepstein wrote
you have to be careful, because the ring fits very tight but with enaugh patience, it should be possible (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
