Make sure you have the two spade plugs on the back. This will not work for the late 72-73 because it has a block type plug.

Mark, As far as I know all 1972 and 1973 cars have the 4-pole light. Did early 1972 models not have this light?

Jeff, you are correct. I messed up. I was thinking about the fixed belt to the retracting type that were required 1 Jan 1972. It had nothing to do with the seat belt light.
