Hi, I have an early car (70). It's been converted to side shift. I have all new bushings and my shifting seems to be spot on. (Following Dr. Evils instructions)
I'm in the process of trying to add heat and recently put heat control lever in. The problem is- the linkage hits the heat control pivot bolt when the car is in 4/5th gear. I've tried reversing heat control pivot bold and it does help, but is still rubbing in those gears.
I don't know if its a by product of tail to side shift conversion- again shifting is spot on, and don't really want to mess that up.
Pic shows where linkage is in those gears.
Thanks, rob
