Friend has these parts behind his barn. With what you see here, What would you offer and is it worth buying. Friend said they came from a 914-6. Yes? No?

5 lug is always worth something.
one front 3" spacing pinch type strut and hub.
rear hubs and stub axles and calipers ( six rear calipers different than 4 calipers ).
get it all, cheap, yo.

I think too many people are buying/using worn struts and shocks.

If those are real 914-6 rear hubs and brakes then yes, it's worth something.

Give him 50 bucks for the lot ...

The speedo and combo gauge are not from a 914-6. All of the Sixes had the silver cone in the middle of the gauge, for one thing. The no-cone version started in the 74 model year.

So probably 911 parts off a conversion project. What's the marking on the calipers to know for sure it's a six or 911?

It's a 914-4 combo gauge. Not sure about the speedo.

Why are you so far away? Were you scared of them? Were they barking at you? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

Oh and I (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) with the above.

the original 914-6 tach should have the red line between 6300 and 6500
the one in the pic has it significantly higher
