Does any one know off hand what size the bolts are on the flywheel? I used my big torx tip but its 6 point and it felt like it was starting to slip. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) These are 12 point. I do not want to strip them out and will get the proper tool when I know what I need. Thanks

I have one I can mail to you if you can't find one. I loosened my bolts with a chisel because I didn't have the tool. (ya it was dumb) When I installed the new bolts I went to NAPA first. They stock the tool. It's a bit you use with a socket.

BTW: You may need to purchase new bolts anyway. the stick flywheel is probably thicker than the auto flexplate.

There is a chance they are the same though.

I'm not sure what size it is. But they had a rack with misc. specialty tools on it. They have the 12 point for the axles and the larger one for the flywheel bolts. If you don't find it pm me. I'll look into it further.

Went to Autozone they have a four pack of metric 12 points for like $14 out the door. The flywheel is the 10. It came with a 7,8,9,and10. I know One of them also fits the axel bolts.
