We done here in South Florida have been experiencing a very blustery day---some parts are getting wind storms at a higher degree than that of the hurricanes which blazed by us this summer. Out behind my home is the skunk works---a block work house with a slab roof-- Problem is that damn ficus is right up against the NW corner of the building--I just came back from surveying it and all the roots are being pulled up and the tree is punching a hole in the side of the building.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) I have grave fear that the tree/ bush is coming down soon---it is moving about 6-9 inches back and forth at its BASE!!!! I have over 15k of tools and about another 10k of teener porn in there and I am scared to go into the building and start removing it--if any part of that building comes down it will crush me..... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) This really sucks..I am watching my teener stuff and tools get smashed before my eyes...Good Lord, won't you please cause the wind to let up???? Hopeful in S.Fl..................J. Walters |

Looks like its time to call in the reserves and cut that puppy down now! At least take the top of the tree/bush off so that the wind won't be able to swing it around any more.
You could also go inside and brace the roof and walls with a few sections of 4x4 to try and keep the building from coming down... Good luck, would hate to see it all come down... Tony |

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sawzall-smiley.gif) Cut that sucker at an angle and slowly take it apart. Then you should be able to patch up the building with some new concrete or something.
