This isn't a 914 mirror, is it? The base looks different than any I've seen.

Is there a logo or lettering stamped on the bottom edge, between the mounting base and the small hole in the mirror case?

90% sure it's off of a Karman Gia. I saw one on the road yesterday and when I saw the mirrors I thought of this thread.

...or I could be 100% wrong.

bought a seat rail from him. he described it as in "excellent" condition; had been cleaned, polished and painted but adjuster handle was broken off and painted over.

He refunded my money but things might not be what he says they are. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
