I am about to install the stock radio , what do you do to connect your iPod?

If your stock radio is any variation of a Blaupunkt from the early 70s, there is a plug on the back you can attach an adapter for an iPod or other MP3 player. Other radios may have a similar plug.

This is my 73 stock radio. It has the Blaupunkt plug on the back.

In that case you have to be extremely invasive. You will need to intercept the amplifier circuit after the tuner. Not really worth all the effort (damage). The sound will be like shit.

Cool radio, am only?
If so, an fm modulator won't work. You can install a small amp and iPod hookup under the dash, totally hidden.

I think the "Excellence" 914/6 project (I can't remember his handle here at the moment) used an iPod/aux hookup and small amp with no radio.
