Hey guys new here.

I got a 1972 1.7 with a tail shift transmission. I am replacing the shift rod seal. I have it apart but the new seal I got from Atlanta seems too big . It's not very tight on the shaft. The shaft looks ok, no big grooves. Is this the way it is? Do you guys have some part numbers I could use to cross reference? The seal they gave me is a Victor Reinz 15x24x7. Thanks for the help.
