Just got the new excellence Magazine. Huey made it in. Congratulations to Bob and Nadine!

Sorry for the mistaken identity. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Hey Rick
It's Huey. (Papa Smurf is Light/Dark blue) Just got mine and saw it. John did a good job with the article. We did run Papa Smurf at the first Hillclimb in June, Huey at the August one.

We're running again in March - with Huey - I'll provide updates

Video's from last year on our website - link below in my signature

Papa was obviously mad all last year....really starting to piss me off to be honest. I'm tempted to bench him for a while - make him go sit in the corner without any oil.... then again, he spent most of the year with no engine because he keeps breaking it, so technically he was benched most of the year by his own doing....

I was beginning to think you were like Allen Shirley this year.....

Bring the car,
Run two laps,
Sit around all weekend and watch everyone else!!

I hope this yellow one doesn't do that to me now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Papa is naturally Olympic Blue. Back in the day, he was all just Olympic blue. But when we did Huey and liked the two tone color, we did the same Sunoco blue on Papa.

since we put the old, VERY tired 3.2 engine in Huey almost 5 years, we've done virtually nothing to him, just a few minor creature comforts.

Papa has gotten a new engine (multiple new engines), new transmission, LSD, trans cooling, better oil cooling, wing, splitter, all new wiring, new roof & rear deck lid, new sets of wheels, in-car radio system, data acquisition, trailer to keep him dry during transportation, etc. etc. etc....

Ungrateful SOB he is...

CERTAINLY not what I've wanted...

It's all traced to oil starvation. And it seems the more development we put into it, the worse it gets. On round 4 now... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif)

Dually (Clifford, the red big butt truck)
944 SP1 Boss car, Isabella (on a good weekend she's my Spanish mistress, on a bad my Spanish whore)
944 SP1 Canon car, Camille (no idea why she just looked like a Camille)
914 Heidi (cause that's what she looked like, and I dated a hot Heidi in school)

Funny though, we've never named any other car we've owned, just these two. We've owned at least 6 other Porsche's and who knows how many other cars...

Not officially. It's never really stuck. We refer to the 914's like they're our kids (which, they kinda are I guess). But we usually just say 'the GT3' or 'the Porsche', and 'the GTI' for the cars. The 993 cab was "the cab", the '69 911 was "the '69", the 944 cab "the '44"...
