It appears that Boge strut housings changed from internal threads to external threads mid-year 1985.

Does anyone have any pre-85 BOGE Front Strut Housings with 3.5" Caliper Spacing?

BTW, the pre-85 housings will likely start with 911-341-043 and 911-341-044. The 2 digits after are important only in that they indicate the revision level to the part.

thanks!

If you upgrade to Bilstein inserts will come with both internal and external gland nuts.
