I was stumbling around tonight and found your sight, and am very pleased to see so many people stoked about 914's. I have about 7 in my yard right now along with a s-load of other Porsches, VW's and jeeps. I just have one question though,.....where the hell are the east coasters???? Anyhoo, I spilt my time between landscaping and restoring Porsches, VW's and Jeeps depending on the weather and my mood.Looking forward to some good disscussions.

I got to it first. We need pictures before we talk. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) (Especially of the 914's, but 1 or 2 of the 356 and puma would be cool too)

Anyways. Welcome to the club (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)

Pics may come if I can get the camera figured out. I seem to spend to much time working and not enough time catching up on modernization. By the way have you heard about the new " Boxter" Porsche is coming out with? I hear it might be mid engined!! COOL!!!!!!!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif)

newdeal2,

No, don't know him, but I have not lived here very long.

I have two rusty 914's ('76 and '73) that I have been working on for about a year now. I hope to get the '73 back on the road by summer.

scotty b,

welcome again, can't wait to see some pictures. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

If you actually work on your car, I don't think you are allowed here. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) Or at least you won't be working on it for long.

I'm here all night guys.

Welcome to the club, I take it you were joking about the Boxster being mid engined. They always have been, they are just a new model of the 914. The new one they are showing at the auto shows are just more power with more 911 components. 280HP or something like that in the S model.
