Owners manual, tool kit and sales brochure still in car. 3 owners with pretty much all receipts since new. I have owned for car for almost 20 years. I really just sat on it for a while and then started the rebuild. Car has 8000 miles since engine rebuild. Originally a California car. Engine: 2.0 liter with stock fuel injection. Pulls hard through all gears with no smoke on decel or acel. No backfires on decel. As you'll see by the list, my plan was to make the car mechanically perfect and presentable cosmetically. I wanted to drive it and not worry about a perfect paint job. All of this was done in the last 4 years with no more than 8000 miles on any of the new parts. Will happily assist with shipping and or airport service if you want to arrive and drive. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in right now and drive this car anywhere. I know of nothing that needs attention. Just enjoy it and maybe paint it if you like. $13,000 or best. Very extensive spares and factory manuals can be purchased seperatly at very reduced price with the car. 952-917-9482 80 pictures at: http://s57.photobucket.com/user/johnclemen...20Porsche%20914 |

I wanted to weigh in on this car. I have personally driven this car to the last WCR in Tahoe a few years ago. We drove from the Portland, OR area, down the back roads to Tahoe. I asked if I could open her up in a high mountain meadow where there were no cars, cops, or people and John said, with out hesitation, "Ya man, go for it". The pic is my smiling face in the reflection from the speedo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This car is very nice and you will not be sad if you buy it.

I also Drove John's car at Tahoe! He let me take it for one drive as my LE was stuck on the trailer. It drove great & John has done a nice job with this car. Well worth his asking price. You will be pleased with it for sure

iMO, this car could have sold for $20,000 in the year it was sold, 2014. Lord knows it cost A LOT more to get it into the shape it was in at the time of this listing than 13k.
I personally think the owner was under estimating the value / demand for this excellent example. M.i.M. |
