So what is the dimension for locating the u-tabs on the a-arms? I've seen it different ways. The Pelican article gives one dimension but they don't say from where to where....

I'm going to try and weld these on this weekend. At least the welds will be horizontal flat, so it should be fun.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Thanks.

So what is the dimension for locating the u-tabs on the a-arms?

i did a "custom" location/rotation because of the droplinks. they would bind on the u-tab if the bar is set on full soft or hard. i turned them 90 deg. and now it's just fine.
in this configuration, they will bind if the suspension is fully unloaded (like when the car is on the lift) but otherwise clear.

the best location for you depends on your sway-bar.
you want the droplink to go down in a straight line when the car is loaded (on the ground).
